Cliffs above a Cobalt Sea
A rocky headland runs out into a deep cobalt sea, its face built from short strokes of blue, lilac, rose and burnt orange. The last of the sun lights the far end of the cliff in white and gold, under a pale yellow sky. The water below is painted in quick curved strokes that follow the swell.
The cliff is built from short strokes of blue, lilac, rose and burnt orange, so the rock looks warm in the light and cool in the shade. The quick curved strokes in the water follow the swell and keep the bottom of the canvas moving.
A strong blue seascape for a living room, bedroom or office. It looks crisp against white walls and works well in modern or Mediterranean interiors, at 65 × 50 cm.
