Boat Named Varna

A white fishing boat with VARNA painted in Cyrillic on its bow sits alone on deep blue water. An orange lifebuoy lies on the deck by a thin mast, and the hull throws a broken trail of pink, lilac and white light across the waves. The sea fills almost the whole canvas in short, dense strokes of navy and violet.
