The Red Tree

A red tree in the middle of a field, painted in short thick strokes that sit up off the canvas. The branches spread almost to both edges and the leaves are laid on as separate touches of orange, rose and white. The ground beneath it is the same red, so the tree seems to be standing in its own colour.
