Night City in Gold and Blue

A night skyline in two temperatures: a black and indigo sky above, a band of gold, orange and rose across the middle where the city burns, and all of it repeated below in the water. A pale arch near the centre is the one shape that holds still. The paint is dragged sideways with the knife, thick enough that the weave of the canvas shows through in places.
