Colourful Houses of Burano

A row of houses on Burano, the island of the Venetian lagoon, painted blue, yellow and red along a quiet canal, with flower boxes under the shuttered windows. A red boat and a blue one are moored below, and the water repeats every colour in long vertical strokes. Thick paint throughout, so the walls and windows keep the relief of the knife.
