Golden Evening Over the Lavender

A lone tree on a low rise stands against a sky gone gold, while the lavender rows below curve away towards blue hills. The nearest bushes are built from hundreds of short curved strokes of blue, violet and pink, and the evening light catches only the tops of the middle rows, turning them yellow and orange. The deep blue band of cloud across the top holds the whole scene down like a lid.
