Pink Tree Above the Lavender

A tree in full pink bloom stands at the edge of a lavender field, lit from behind by a blazing orange sunset. Long bands of light and shadow cross the slope beyond it, and the sky churns with violet, blue and gold. The lavender in the foreground is painted in quick curved strokes of purple, blue and pink, with a few orange grasses catching the light.
