Sunflowers at Sunset

A sunflower field with the sun already down behind the treeline. The sky burns gold and orange all the way to the horizon, one tree standing dark against it, and the flowers nearest the viewer turn from yellow to blue as the shadow reaches them. Painted mostly with the knife: the petals are flat slabs of paint, the leaves deep blue-green rather than black.
