Positano with Geraniums and Bougainvillea

Positano on the Amalfi Coast, seen from above: houses in white, peach, pink and ochre climb the hillside to the green-tiled dome of the church, with small boats scattered across a bay of deep blue. Red and white geraniums fill the left corner and magenta bougainvillea the right, framing the view. A wide canvas painted in thick, bright strokes.

The view is framed by flowers on both sides — red and white geraniums on the left, magenta bougainvillea on the right — so the town and the deep blue bay sit in the middle like a stage. The houses are small, bright strokes stacked up the hill.

The wide 80 × 40 cm format works beautifully above a sofa, a bed or a long dining table. It brings Mediterranean colour to white, cream or light grey interiors and pairs well with terracotta and natural textures.
